- Developer of Zalo, Vietnam’s #1 messaging app, used by 130 million unique active users with usage in excess of 1 billion messages per month.
- Developer of award-winning ZaloPay, an online payment system handling an average of $900M transactions in 2021. Winner, “Vietnam’s typical e-wallet” (Nhip Cau Dau Tu Magazine with Ernst & Young) for ZaloPay.
- Created the most trusted AI identification KYC platform for banking in Vietnam.
- Multiple awards in Natural Language Processing (NLP), Computer Vision (CV) and Data Mining.
- Built and operate multiple data centers including the highest tier data center in Vietnam. We provide private and public cloud services.

OUR HUMBLE BEGINNINGS
Vinagame formed to pioneer role-playing games in Vietnam; released the first online game, Vo Lam Truyen Ky and achieved groundbreaking success of 300,000 PC users.
2006-2008
LEADER IN THE INTERNET INDUSTRY
Changed brand to VNG, announced the mission of “Make the Internet to change Vietnamese lives”; launched a variety of internet mobile applications and digital communications and media platforms.*
2009-2012
HEADING TOWARD GLOBAL STANDARDS
BY 2011, officially exported online games to Japan and China; Launched Zing Me, the first Vietnamese social network and Zalo, currently the #1 most popular messaging application in Vietnam.
2013-2016
THE FIRST UNICORN IN VIETNAM
In 2014, VNG was awarded the Labor Order award for outstanding achievement by the Vietnamese government. The company reached a US$1 billion valuation in the World Startup Report, becoming the only unicorn startup in Vietnam.
2017-2019
FOR A BETTER LIFE
In 2017, signed an MoU for listing on NASDAQ.
In 2019, VNG relocated operations to a purpose-built IT campus to provide a dedicated facility to enhance employees’ and business partnerships.

POSITIONED FOR THE FUTURE
In 2020, VNG broadens its emphasis to include offshore enterprise business solutions and cloud services. It builds a solid foundation to provide expertise includes SaaS, PaaS and IaaS.
In 2022, opens Vietnam’s first Tier 3 Uptime Data Center.
